Installation modern fireplace inserts, a wood stove must be placed on a concrete slab in a database table cement floor brick, ceramic tile or stone above it, or in a wooden-stove prefabricated UL approved. They should be placed at a safe distance from walls, doors or furniture. A modern fireplace inserts must have a stainless steel liner placed in the fireplace. The coating adheres to the insertion. If the chimney is prefabricated masonry instead, it is very likely to have a small firebox which greatly limits the choice of the inserts.
